Role Overview
We’re hiring our first-ever Solutions Engineer—a pivotal, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of product, sales, and customer success. Reporting directly to the VP of Go-To-Market, you’ll serve as the technical linchpin between our cutting-edge SaaS platform and the enterprise consumer brands we serve.
This is more than a pre-sales role. You’ll design elegant, scalable solutions, guide integrations, and help shape how we deliver our Lived Experience Data to customers—driving real-world impact for marketing, product, and innovation teams. As our inaugural hire, you’ll also lay the foundation for a world-class Solutions Engineering function, with the ambition to grow into a leadership position as the company scales.
This is the ideal opportunity for a director-level, technically sharp, and customer-obsessed professional with 4–10 years of experience and a startup mindset—curious, resourceful, emotionally intelligent, and ready to build.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Implementation: Partner with prospective enterprise clients to understand their business needs and architect tailored solutions using our wearables data platform, ensuring seamless integration and maximum value.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical point of contact, demonstrating deep knowledge of data platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and analytics to guide clients through onboarding, configuration, and optimization.
- Client Engagement: Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical workshops, and go-to-market design, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to translate client feedback into actionable product enhancements, driving innovation and scalability.
- Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends in consumer wearables, data analytics, and SaaS technologies, contributing to the company’s strategy and positioning as a market leader.
- Process Development: As the first hire in this role, establish best practices, workflows, and documentation for solution engineering, laying the foundation for a scalable customer success function.
- Lay the foundation: Create the reusable playbooks, tools, and frameworks that will enable the Solutions Engineering team to scale.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-10 years in a solution engineering, technical consulting, or similar client-facing technical role, ideally within SaaS companies in data analytics, customer data platforms (CDPs), or wearables technology.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data platforms, APIs, and integration frameworks (e.g., REST, GraphQL, webhooks).
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies, including data visualization, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
- Knowledge of consumer wearables data ecosystems, including device APIs, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and real-time data processing.
- Comfort with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for prototyping or custom integrations.
- Soft Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect) are a plus.
