What We're Looking For
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer experienced in building and scaling back-end services, as well as front-end interfaces for consumer-facing web applications. You have hands-on experience implementing API authentication using JWT and are knowledgeable about other security protocols such as SAML and OAuth2. There is no part of the Software Development Lifecycle that you don’t love, and it’s especially interesting to you when driving initiatives end-to-end through multiple layers of architecture. You also enjoy collaborating on implementing service improvements and are proactive in researching and solving technical support problems as they arise.
But most of all? You are curious, collaborative, and driven. The energy of a startup excites you, and problem-solving is one of your key strengths. The Full Stack Engineer reports to the Head of Technology and works closely with the Product team and other members of the Engineering Team.
Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience delivering SaaS software solutions
- 5-7 years of experience in the listed languages/technologies: Typescript/Node.js, React (Next.js), AWS CDK, Docker, SQL, data modeling
- Experience with AWS technologies such as ECS and API Gateway…etc
- Expertise with version management tools (Git)
- Experience working with the Atlassian suite of products (Jira, Confluence)
- Understanding of Lean software development methodologies.
- Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions and AWS code build preferred)
- Experience developing applications using microservices with ECS/Fargate
- Strong mentoring skills. Ability to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
- High energy, adaptable, self-starter with a growth mindset that is comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment
- BS in computer science or related field, or have a proven career track record of working on complex solutions showing that an equivalent or higher level of knowledge is attained in lieu of a degree
- Familiarity with banking cores (Symitar, Fiserv, etc.) and digital banking vendors (Q2, NCR, Alkami, etc.)
