Director of AI Strategy & Enablement
Fullbay
Software Engineering, Data Science
Phoenix, AZ, USA
At Fullbay, our mission is simple — to create safer roads for our families and yours. As leaders in the heavy-duty repair industry, we power shops with technology that helps them run smarter and more efficiently. As an AI-First company, we invite artificial intelligence to eliminate friction, spark innovation, and drive efficiencies in every conversation— for our teams and our customers.
The Director of AI Strategy & Enablement is a senior, cross-functional leader who will shape and drive Fullbay's AI agenda across the entire organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role serves as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on practitioner — identifying high-impact AI opportunities, building and deploying solutions, and enabling every team to work smarter through AI. This is an individual contributor role designed to evolve in scope and leadership over time, in close collaboration with People Experience and department leaders across the business.
The Right Wrench for the Job
In a heavy-duty repair shop, the best technicians don't wait to be told what's broken — they diagnose the problem, grab the right tool, and get to work. That's exactly the mindset this role demands.
You're the right fit if you're equally comfortable mapping out an AI strategy for a VP in the morning and rolling up your sleeves to build and test a workflow solution in the afternoon. You move between vision and execution the way a great technician moves between the diagnostic screen and the shop floor — fluidly, and without losing a step.
This isn't the role for someone who prefers to hand off the hard parts. If your best work happens when scope is fully defined, the team is built out, and the infrastructure is already in place — this isn't your shop. But if you're energized by ambiguity, motivated by measurable impact, and genuinely excited about being the person who builds something from nothing — we'd like to talk.
At Fullbay, we keep heavy-duty shops running. This role keeps Fullbay running smarter.
