What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate closely with our team to build and maintain our platform.
- Develop and optimize high-quality, scalable code for both frontend (React) and backend (FastAPI).
- Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker/Podman and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the overall design of our platform.
- Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and security of our platform.
- Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing with the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our platform remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Frontend: JavaScript, React.js, HTML/CSS
- Backend: Python, FastAPI/Gunicorn, Node.js, Redis, RabbitMQ, Celery
- Database: PostgreSQL, SQLite
- DevOps: Docker/Podman, Kubernetes
- Testing: Cypress, PyTest
- Version Control: Git/GitHub
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to contribute independently within 6 weeks.
- Experience with machine learning and AI techniques.
- Prior experience working in a startup environment.
- Knowledge of the nuclear or utility industries.
- Full-time salaried position
- Mon-Fri hybrid work environment (expectation is at least 80% in-office)
