Skills & experience we're looking for:
As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Soraban, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts within the accounting industry. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate relationships with accounting firms, understand their pain points and challenges, and demonstrate how our SaaS solution aligns with and addresses their needs.
You’ll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiating and closing deals. We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual who can build and maintain strong client relationships while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders at accounting firms to understand their workflow and information intake processes.
- Drive the full sales cycle, including prospecting, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Develop and maintain a robust, clean pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize and execute effective sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and effectively presenting solutions to drive value and ROI.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market changes to provide valuable insights and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Participate in team and 1:1 trainings.
Requirements:
- Proven track record 2+ years of success in B2B sales, preferably selling SaaS solutions.
- Strategic and analytical thinking to tailor solutions to clients' specific needs.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Coachable and collaborative attitude.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Honesty and integrity.
Bonus Points for:
- Strong understanding of accounting workflows and practices, with prior experience in this domain.
- Previous experience selling SaaS solutions specifically designed for accounting firms.
- Established network within the accounting industry.
