TL;DR

Trainual is hiring an Event & Field Marketing Manager to help scale our growing event portfolio — from the planning stages all the way through onsite execution and pipeline generation. This is a high-ownership role for someone who genuinely thrives in live environments, loves starting conversations with strangers, and knows how to turn a booth moment into a booked meeting.

Once you're ramped, you'll own regional events end-to-end — the planning, the logistics, the onsite execution, and the follow-through. You're the one person on the ground making it all work, and you wouldn't have it any other way.

So... who are you?

You're an operator who loves the energy of live events.

  • You don't just show up — you show up prepared, energized, and ready to drive momentum.

  • Logistics, timelines, and vendor wrangling don't stress you out. They're your natural habitat.

  • You treat every event like a revenue opportunity, not a calendar obligation.

You know how to work a room — and a pipeline.

  • You can qualify a lead in a five-minute conversation and know exactly what to do next.

  • You give a sharp product overview without a script and without breaking a sweat.

  • You close for meetings the way good salespeople close for signatures — with confidence and a clear next step.

You're as good at the follow-through as you are at the setup.

  • You capture clean data, hand off to Sales without friction, and care about what happens after the event ends.

  • You bring insights back to the team and use them to make the next event better.

  • You're building a playbook, not just checking boxes.

  • You're personally accountable to lead-to-demo conversion and event-sourced pipeline ROI — and you treat those numbers like your own.

What you'll own & improve

Event Planning & Readiness

  • Own the planning and execution of regional and partner-sourced events

  • Support coordination across the broader event portfolio

  • Manage timelines, logistics, travel, shipping, and vendor coordination

  • Prepare event briefs, run-of-show docs, and internal comms to ensure the team shows up ready

Onsite Engagement & Pipeline Generation

  • Lead booth engagement, attendee flow, and overall onsite energy

  • Start conversations proactively and identify high-intent prospects in real time

  • Deliver sharp product overviews and positioning on the fly

  • Qualify leads, secure clear next steps, and book meetings and demos directly from the floor

Pipeline Quality & Follow-Through

  • Capture accurate lead data and ensure a clean handoff to Sales

  • Support pre-event outreach and meeting booking

  • Assist with post-event follow-up, coordination, and recaps

  • Drive improvement in lead-to-demo conversion and event-sourced pipeline

Continuous Improvement

  • Share event insights to sharpen performance over time

  • Optimize booth messaging, activations, and attendee experience

  • Contribute to evolving the event playbook as the program scales

What you already know

  • 3–5 years in events, field marketing, sales, or a related role — B2B/SaaS experience preferred

  • Strong project management instincts — organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple moving pieces without dropping them

  • Onsite presence and communication skills — you're comfortable engaging a wide range of prospects from different industries and you're good at it

  • The ability to learn a product fast — and speak about it confidently in a live environment

  • A sales-oriented mindset — you can spot a high-intent prospect, qualify in real time, and drive meaningful next steps

  • Cross-functional experience — comfortable working with Marketing, Sales, and CX teams

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, lead capture workflows, and event operations — logistics, vendors, production — you know the drill

  • Willingness to travel regularly (~50%)

How success is measured

  • Events are well-planned, organized, and ready to execute — every time

  • Booth engagement and onsite momentum consistently improve

  • Events generate qualified, high-intent leads

  • Lead-to-demo conversion increases over time

  • Event-sourced pipeline and ARR grow quarter over quarter

  • Internal teams feel aligned, prepared, and supported going into every event

  • Event learnings are captured and applied — not just documented and forgotten

About the team

You'll report to our Manager of Events + Experiential Marketing, Jade Bunda and work alongside our Event & Sponsorships Manager. This is a collaborative, high performing team that cares deeply about doing events well — not just doing more of them.

A few things to know about this role

Schedule Flexibility

Events don't run on a 9-to-5. This role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends based on the event calendar. We trust you to manage your time well — and we'll do the same on our end.

Travel Requirements

This role requires regular travel, approximately 50% of the time. You'll be on-site at regional and partner events across the country, which means flights, hotels, and the occasional early alarm clock are part of the deal. You're equally comfortable hitting the road solo or working alongside Sales, Marketing, and Events teammates — and you show up the same either way. If that sounds energizing to you, you're probably our person.

Physical Requirements

This role involves extended periods of standing and engaging with attendees on the event floor, as well as lifting and transporting event materials and booth equipment (up to 50 lbs). We want to make sure anyone stepping into this role feels set up for success physically, not just professionally. We're committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals who need them.

If you're the kind of person who does pre-event research on a Sunday, owns the booth like you built the product, and debriefs the team before the flight home — we'd love to meet you.
